Pursuant to D.C. Code (2001 edition) §5 718(a), the survivor annuities of the Federal Police Pension Plan will be increased whenever the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI U) rises at least 3% for three consecutive months.
Accordingly, a Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA) will be applied to survivor annuities for former members of the U.S. Secret Service, U.S. Secret Service/Uniformed Division, and U.S. Park Police.
